Job Purpose

This is a role for someone who combines strong knowledge of the asylum system with a commitment to justice and inclusion. You’ll provide accurate, non-directive advice and information to people seeking asylum, often at moments of difficulty, and often in a context of high demand. You’ll be confident managing complex cases, recording your work with care, and communicating difficult information clearly, kindly, and sensitively.

Alongside frontline advice, you’ll play a key role in supporting and training our dedicated volunteers, offering practical guidance, IT and database support, and helping to ensure our Monday drop-in runs equitably and effectively.
If you bring experience of working with marginalised communities, understand the rights and barriers facing people seeking asylum, and are committed to empowerment, safeguarding, equality and strong professional boundaries, we’d love to hear from you.
