Other Ways To Give

There are plenty of ways to get involved with BHN and support our work.

Becoming a volunteer is a great way to support us, and we're always on the look out for people with skills to offer the network.

If you would like to volunteer but are unable to make a fixed term commitment, we also are often on in need of people to help us with DIY, gardening, or repairs on an ad-hoc basis. If you are interested in particular about offering this kind of help, please be sure to contact us.

We currently are in need of a few items, please contact us if you think you can donate any of these:

- New/nearly new (cleaned and ironed) sheets, pillowcase and duvet cover sets for new members at the men's hostel (preferably suitable for a guy)

- Exercise equipment (rowing machine/pull up bar, etc.). We already have free weights and not much space.

- Metal framed single beds for men's hostel

- Regular food items for Welcome Centre: instant coffee, tea bags, large bags of basmati rice (5kg and above), sugar, 5lt sunflower oil bottles, 1kg tins of tomato paste or puree, 2-5kg bags of red lentils, cake, jam (with long expiry dates), sugar-free peanut butter, chocolate spread.

This list was last updated in June 2018. Please contact us before donating any large items. Many thanks in advance.

Lastly, don't forget to like us on Facebook and help spread the word about our organisation!
